A true God-sent person brings peace and joy that words can't explain, this is truly how our story began two years ago.  Lamark and Michelle have always had similar interests such as church and music. Both Michelle and LaMark were at a pivotal time in their lives and longed for companionship but never really felt they would meet that person. Michelle and LaMark were always cordial when they were around each other but sparks began to fly around May 2023. One Sunday after church the two decided to go on their first initial date. This date was a long time coming, LaMark was what you would call a frequent flyer in Michelle's direct messages. He was not the only one to blame, because wheneverLaMark came around Michelle would, as Mark likes to call it, put on jet skies and speed away. Little did he know, she was just nervous and could feel something changing between them. 

Their first date was a walk through the Dequindre Cut, they walked and talked for hours. It was as if they did this all the time because the conversation was so natural and fun. That day they found out they had so much in common and shared the same views on family, faith and even politics. LaMark was even stunned to know that Michelle was even closer in age than he had ever realized. It was that day they both knew they had found the very thing that they thought was unattainable. Their forever person.

On September 21, 2023 LaMark without a doubt in his heart knew that Michelle was the woman to continue his life's journey with. So he planned a surprise dinner date that would be perfect to create the mood for him to ask for her hand in marriage. With family and friends in attendance. Michelle said "YES". Which brings us to this moment where LaMArk and Michelle would like for Family and Friends to bear witness to their union to become one on July 5, 2025.
